Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Aflo Technologies Inc. (“Aflo”, “we”, “us”), a company incorporated in Delaware, United States, for your use of Aflo. By creating an account or using Aflo, you agree to them.

1. What Aflo is

Aflo is an AI-powered tool for practising and getting feedback on English-test speaking and writing (such as IELTS, TOEFL and the Duolingo English Test). Scores and feedback are AI-generated practice estimates. They are not official test results and do not guarantee any official score or outcome. Aflo is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any test maker.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Aflo.

3. Acceptable use

Aflo is for your own personal practice. You agree not to:

Misuse, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service.
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the service or its content.
Submit unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
Redistribute single-use promotional or free-access links beyond their intended one-time use.

4. Plans, billing and cancellation

Aflo offers a free tier with a limited number of AI scores per month, and a paid Pro subscription with unlimited scoring.
Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe and renew automatically each period until you cancel. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; by subscribing, you also agree to Stripe’s terms and its handling of your payment information.
You can cancel any time; your access continues until the end of the current paid period.
Prices and plan features may change; we will give reasonable notice of material changes.
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
Promotional and free-access codes are single-use, non-transferable, and have no cash value.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the answers you submit. You grant Aflo the permission needed to process them — to transcribe, score, generate feedback, and store your history — so we can provide the service to you. See our Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.

6. Disclaimers

Aflo is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that scores will match any official result, or that using Aflo will produce any particular exam outcome.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aflo Technologies Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Suspension and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, and we may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, where Aflo Technologies Inc. is incorporated, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This does not remove any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
